"You belong among the wildflowers..."

Someone is going to have to teach me how to put pictures on here.  I'm not so good with those.  Anyway, today was a loooong, hard day at work, and while these days are not my favorite, they do make me incredibly grateful for all I have in the world, and for the honor of just knowing some of the greatest kids in the world.  I wanted to post pictures of my plants (because they're gorgeous and alive) that I'm pretty proud of.  I think it was my dad who said I've had the honor/curse of "ushering several babies into heaven."  It's hard to forget those kids and parents (in fact, I think they'll stay with me forever), but I've found I still need a way to honor and remember my babies even after I've watched them pass into heaven.  So each plant is for a special patient, so that I can remember my babies (even if they're older) and the journeys they had to make.  They've survived my lack of gardening skills, a lack of sun, and now, several tornadoes, so I think they can make it through a summer at my parents' house.  I'm pretty attached to them, so God help my mom if they krump while I'm gone.  So anyway, today's list.

 1.  I'm grateful for my coworkers.  They're hilarious, brilliant, and simply amazing.  We work our butts off day in and day out, and I'm pretty sure they're the best group of people you'll ever know in one place.
 2.  I'm grateful for the option of one day eloping.  While the wedding of William and Kate was beautiful, and her dress will totally be on my list of best ever, I still think that had that been me, I would've broken down an hour in, and decided to screw the crown, find some tequila, and apologize later.
3.  I'm grateful for baseball and Publix sushi after a long day.  My family is there without me (jerks), but I'll settle for second best on my roommate's rather large tv.
4.  I'm grateful for Moe's Day in the cafeteria!!  The burritos are smaller, and the prices are the same, but the amount of joy I get from a burrito at 2:30 in the afternoon at the hospital is unreal.

I think that's all I've got for tonight.  I'm leaving you with some pictures of some of my plants that I'm oh, so attached to.  Goodnight!
This was last year.  This plant is currently doing some rehab at Mom's house.

These still look pretty good!

The cactus is for an odd but awesome kid.  The marigolds were another girl's favorite.
