Just Dance

Jess walked in on my guilty pleasure of Dancing with the Stars.  They danced to Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" and it will be in my head as I try to fall asleep tonight, guaranteed.  She didn't make fun of me, and I'm grateful.  Anyway, Monday.

5/16/11 I'm Thankful...
1.  for being able to send patients and families home.  It's almost always a loooooong process, but it almost always ends happily.  It's good to be able to see it.
2.  for saying some of my first good-byes.  It's an odd one, but it's true.  I hugged Cheryl and Edie goodbye tonight since I won't see them before I leave.  Their well wishes were fun, and I'm so thankful to have had their wonderful support since I started that job 3 years ago.  Cheryl told me to fall in love with a Ugandan man (and bring one back for her), and Edie said not to fall in love, and just to come right back to work.  It feels good to be loved. :)  I will miss all of my work ladies terribly.
3.  for clean kitchens and clean sheets.  My mom is always right, and it's true: life is better when you have clean sheets.

And on that note, I'm going to fold some clothes and then pass out on those clean sheets.  Goodnight y'all!
